I’ve been a travel agent ince 2012 and am accredited by IATA. I have annually completed the College of Disney Knowledge certification in addition to being a Universal Orlando specialist, SeaWorld Parks specialist, Legoland Florida specialist, Certified Sandals Specialist, AMResorts Master Agent, and destination expert for Mexico, Hawaii and the Dominican Republic.
I remember planning my family’s first vacation to Walt Disney World. I spent countless hours scouring various websites for opinions on what hotel would work best for all our extended family joining us. I watched ride through videos to see what attractions my children would like. I studied maps so we wouldn’t be walking in circles.

When should I start planning my vacation?
- Usually 9 – 12 months in advance is when you’ll find the best resort availability and airfare.
What if I want to travel sooner than that? What if I’m looking to go next month?
- We can help! We can guide you through an accelerated Purple Brick Path. We’ll help you set realistic expectations and you will have a great time!
How do I pay for my vacation?
- Your payment will always be processed directly by the travel provider (such as Walt Disney Travel Company or Funjet Vacations). Most travel packages require a deposit, as low as $200, with the balance due 30-60 days prior to arrival.
Can I make payments?
- Definitely! You can email Purple Martin Vacations to authorize a payment towards your balance anytime. We could also work together to come up with a monthly or bi-monthly payment schedule.
What if a discount comes out after I book my vacation?
- A benefit to using Purple Martin Vacations is we know as soon as new discounts and specials are released and automatically check if your reservation is eligible for savings. My favorite email to sent is the one that says “You’ve saved money.”
How do I pay for the Purple Brick Path?
- After your Free Right-Fit consultation, you will receive an invoice to your provided email address. As soon as your Purple Brick Path service is paid, we’ll begin building your customized vacation proposal.
What if we decide not to go?
- The Purple Brick Path is non-refundable however, you may be entitled to a refund of payments made to the travel provider depending on when and why you cancel. Be sure to read the travel provider terms & conditions with your reservation.
Why do you recommend travel insurance?
- Vacations are an investment. Travel insurance protects your financial investment, helping you recover money spent as well as to assist you in case of travel delays or medical expenses when outside of your medical insurance network.
